Georgina is an All Breeds Show Judge who began her judging career in 1979. She has judged extensively around Australia and across the world, including the British GSP Association Open Show and the breed National in the USA.

The book was awarded "Best Breed Book" by the Dog Writers' Association of America, and is the Recommended Text for the World Shorthair Association.
